Know get to to know the real person My Story
- Country kid at heart born and lived in Bruce Rock – small town 350 km east of Perth in the wheatbelt of Western Australia
Not a farm kid, I was a townie with lots farm kid friends.
- Growing up in Bruce Rock was a lot sport, farm chores, roustabouting, exploring the bush, climbing trees, trying to stay out of trouble, lots of 80’s music and rise of such things as sega, nintendo and commadore 64 (oh the hours playing video games, Still super mario champion)
- Moved to Perth to complete year 11 and 12.
- Martial arts coach and self defence instructor Been teaching and training in in martial art for over 32 year. Including Ninjukai, Karate, Kempo, Muay Thai, Arnis and Kali, Brazilian Jui Jitsu (BJJ), Self Defence, Krav Maga and ISR Matrix.
- Outdoor recreation leader for the Dept of sport and Recreation.
- Teaching people Abseiling, rock climbing, team building, archery, orienteering and other cool stuff.
- Been a scout leader for over 19 years. Teaching kids good character, independence and life skills through getting outdoors, camping and hiking.
Marshall for Darklight laser tag and now Laser Blaze - Interested in all things Tv and Movies. Hobbies include filmology, photography and videography, board games, cooking.
- I am the guy you want at a quiz night, I know lots of facts and that unusual triva question I have a answer for.
- Been married to my wife, for 25 years. I my wife meet on summer holiday and used to teach her Dad, before we even knew each other. Father of 2 boys 15 and 1
Favourite day Talk like a Pirate day in September. During this month I switch my facebook language to pirate english.
- I am the guy that will turn up to you themed party in fancy dress and often I like to make the costume myself. Including I built a full Optimus Prime transformer suit.
- I like to cook, play video games, laser tag, enjoy scifi and fantasy star wars, star trek, star gate and yes I am a Whovian plus good reality shows like survivor and the amazing race.
- Books, books and books I love books. I was working at Toy’R’Us when Harry Potter epicdemic hit and couldnt get the books out of the box fast enough.
- Favourite books include Harry Potter, Sword of Truth, Lord of the Rings, the Rangers Apprentice and BrotherBand series. My Library is five ceiling to floor book cases full mainly of Personal Growth and Development.
- My sons are great readers and that has meant 5 more book cases full of Adventures.
